Download 3D Printable STL Files for Volume 2 of the 4 Piece Turning Interlocking Cube Puzzles
These are the 3D printable STL files, PuzzleCAD files, and BurrTools files (showing only the pieces and not the solution) for Volume 1 of the 4 Piece Turning Interlocking Cube designs (TIC - Cube puzzles which will require side-to-side, up-and-down, front-and-back piece movements as well as rotating certain pieces to solve). I generally sell these individually for $5 per design, but this set offers 6 puzzles for less than half that price, and one free extra puzzle (DecTIC).
Purchasing this download will provide you with the files to 3D print:
BT TIC - A puzzle I originally designed using Burr Tools. 13 Total Moves and 8 Moves to completely free the first piece in terms of disassembly, along with rotations.
HepTIC - 13 Total Moves and 7 Moves to completely free the first piece in terms of disassembly, along with rotations.
NervousTIC - 13 Total Moves and 8 Moves to completely free the first piece in terms of disassembly, along with rotations.
PoeTIC - 14 Total Moves and 6 Moves to completely free the first piece in terms of disassembly, along with rotations.
TicToc - 17 Total Moves and 12 Moves to completely free the first piece in terms of disassembly, along with rotations.
XI TIC - 15 Total Moves and 10 Moves to completely free the first piece in terms of disassembly, along with rotations. I originally thought it would require 11 moves for the first piece to come free, hence the name XI.
- and -
DecTIC- 17 Total Moves and 10 Moves to completely free the first piece in terms of disassembly, along with rotations.
There are several sets of the files with various inset amounts for the pieces and the joints (in order to account for variability between different printers and different filaments).
The PuzzleCAD files used to generate each STL are also included, along with a link to where to download PuzzleCAD in the 'READ_ME' file. Using PuzzleCAD allows for these STL files to be generated and then printed without requiring any support material. PuzzleCAD uses a clever joint system to connect parts together to form a solid piece, without supports, and is very strong.
